Job Summary

Responsible for all aspects of project pre-development, including site assessment, engineering design, analysis, and cost estimation of solar PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) at both low and medium voltage levels.

Key Accountabilities

• Responsible to co-ordinate with various teams such as procurement, EPC Contractor, electrical contractors, civil contractors and OEM vendors.
• Carry out and support the technical team in pre-construction including:
  • Review, validation, and analysis of meteorological data for solar resource assessments.
  • Site Visits, Site analysis & Solar Systems Design according to Customer requirements.
  • Design and optimization of solar plants to meet project requirements including, site selection, sites suitability studies, Shading Analysis, plant design, PV and BESS module layouts, energy production, engineering analysis
  • Evaluation of project constraints, risks, and other non-quantitative aspects of plant development.
  • Preparing Bill of Quantity and Capex.
• Support in supervising the Construction, testing and commissioning, final acceptance as well as handover of the project.
• To provide with up-to-date daily or weekly project status report.

Knowledge, Skills and Aptitude

• Educational Qualifications and Certifications: University degree in Electrical/Electromechanical Engineering
• Knowledge: detailed site analysis and system design for Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) at both low and medium voltage levels. Project execution, including inspection as well as testing and commissioning. Helioscope, PVsyst, Hommer and AutoCAD.
• Technical Skills: Technically proficient in the field of solar PV projects, office and field work, time management, technical writing, and computer skills
• Language Skills: Fluency in English. Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience: Minimum of 4 years in solar execution and operation including both LV and MV connection

• Purpose of Interaction: To provide regular updates on the status of project execution daily/ weekly. Daily and Weekly reporting and collaboration. Work with the technical and operational team to support in both project pre- development and installation supervision, start-up, testing, system commissioning.
