Job Summary

To ensure smooth, safe, and efficient warehouse operations by managing parts handling, supervising staff, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting continuity in the absence of supervisory personnel.

Key Accountabilities

• Prioritize Urgent Orders: Ensure immediate processing of “Customer Waiting” parts orders and maintain timely delivery standards.
• Warehouse Operations Oversight: Maintain the delivery counter and warehouse areas to company standards, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and operational readiness.
• Inventory Accuracy & Control: Oversee proper binning, location updates, and daily part counts to meet annual inventory targets; ensure discrepancy reports are submitted monthly.
• Team Supervision & Training: Delegate tasks based on team capabilities, act as supervisor when needed, and support trainee development through coaching and skill-sharing.
• Safety & Equipment Compliance: Enforce safety regulations, ensure equipment is well-maintained, and train staff on proper handling of tools and machinery.
• Parts Handling & Distribution: Manage receiving, stocking, picking, issuing, and returning of parts for service, rebuild, and customer orders, including exchange and bus transfers.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of warehouse activities, vehicle logs, and expenses for audits and inspections.
• Cross-Functional Awareness: Stay informed about all warehouse sections to ensure continuity during emergencies or staff absences.
• Policy Adherence: Ensure compliance with company policies regarding attendance, leave, and language proficiency requirements.

Knowledge, Skills and Aptitude

Educational Qualifications and Certifications: Secondary School Certificate/Diploma holder.

Knowledge: Inventory management, parts identification and movement based on demand, system proficiency, handling Safety Data Sheets for hazardous materials, and basic first aid.

Technical Skills: Driving Forklift, Warehouse Area Management, Contamination Control, Waste Walks

Language Skills: Should have fluency in English - spoken and drafting

Experience: Minimum 5 years in the Zahid Tractor, worked as a warehouseman

Purpose of Interaction: Ensure accurate picking, packing, and issuing of all deliveries released by counter sales staff.. Coordinate and fulfil requests from other departments to ensure smooth operations. Ensure timely delivery of requested parts to the service section. Coordinate with the WHS Supervisor and respond to all queries related to the Parts Department. Ensure same-day response to all requests received from other branches.
