Job Summary
- To call on both existing and prospective buyers to maximize sales of Motech. Report on market conditions and competitive activity within his territory.
Key Accountabilities
- Maximize the sales of the Company's products within his sales territory to achieve annual sales turnover targets within agreed discount levels as set by the Technical Sales Manager.
- Organize through Sales Administration preparation of necessary quotations and tenders and to ensure their prompt delivery and follow up and report outcome of each quote issued.
- Report on a regular basis through the Call Report system on all aspects of competitive activity within his sales territory, eg. Pricing, sales, merchandising strategies etc.
- Report on a regular basis on the prevailing and forecasted economic conditions within his territory that impact on his sales opportunity, eg. New projects, completion of existing projects etc.
- Through careful study of training materials provided by the Company (and attendance at training courses) to ensure he is familiar with the Company's products and services vis-a- vis the competition and to utilize professional selling skills to communicate to his prospective buyers.
- Participate in other sales and promotional activities as may be deemed necessary to generate business within his territory, eg. Demonstration, caravans, open days, surveys etc.
Knowledge, Skills and Aptitude
- Educational Qualifications and Certifications: Engineering Diploma/ Bachelor in Electrical
- Knowledge: Reporting Skills
- Technical Skills: Computer literacy
- Language Skills: Arabic is desirable. English is essential
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years Sales experience.
