Job Description: 

Job Summary

  • Provide superior levels of customer service consistently, demonstrating strong sales skills, attention to detail, flexibility, and teamwork.
  • Prepare quotations for flights, hotels, transfers, Meeting rooms, Tours, and other related services.
  • Provide strong support and assist customers as MICE expert on the destinations’ hotels, tours, rentals, and travel related products/ experiences.

Key Accountabilities

  • Working on all group’s enquiries (existing/new leads) in an accurate, appropriate, and timely manner
  • Suppliers’ negotiations.
  • Approach new leads that generate good volume for the company.
  • Ensure proper execution of all MICE events to the customers’ satisfaction and within budget.
  • Ensure all bookings, passenger details, logistic information, internal notes and supplier notes updated on the systems.
  • Maintain thorough and up to date record of all bookings for easy access, filing and auditing purposes.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of monthly invoices.
  • Coordinate proposals with destinations reservation hubs
  • Achieve monthly/quarterly sales and conversation targets.
  • Provide timely and accurate information and excellent support to external customers (agents, suppliers, and clients)
  • Resolve customer service issues to customer’s satisfaction with appropriate corrective and preventative measures.
  • Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
  • Has very good technical understanding for Air Tickets & Groups.

Knowledge, Skills and Aptitude

  • Educational Qualifications & Certifications: Minimum High school Certificate An undergraduate / Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Tourism/ Travel/Hospitality will be an advantage.
  • Knowledge:Excellent Organizational and administration skills
  • Project management skills
  • Negotiation skills
  • Creative and out of the box thinking.
  • Solid level of Maturity and professionalism to manage a program on the ground with the customer.
  • Excellent domestic, regional, and international travel experience
  • Technical Skills:Demonstrate strong computer literacy skills specifically MS Office Application i.e.MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint. Ability to use booking platforms for air and/or ground services.
  • Language Skills:  Fluency in both English and Arabic
  • Experience:Must have at least 5 years’ experience in the Travel, Tourism or Hospitality industry, MICE
