Job Summary
- Responsible for the planning and execution of all operational activities within the designated area of responsibility.
Key Accountabilities
• Ensure adherence to Company Policies and Procedures.
• Maintain a clean and tidy work area.
• Report any dangerous or hazardous areas to superiors.
• Wear correct uniforms at all times.
• Coordinate daily vehicle availability and inspections.
• Fuel all vehicles before parking.
• Validate and check fuel costs daily.
• Monitor fuel consumption against benchmarked targets.
• Calibrate vehicle odometer readings monthly.
• Manage vehicle services according to a plan agreed with Workshop Manager.
• Plan and manage fleet appearance.
• Allocate employees to correct Terminal/Division.
• Validate and sign off trip/job bonuses daily.
• Manage and enforce daily work-related risks.
• Handle customer-related issues/queries within identified time frames.
• Conduct pre-trip briefing for drivers.
• Reconcile all inbound and outbound goods daily.
• Timorously dispatch operations fleet.
• Monitor and control time wastage and non-conformances.
• Provide detailed instructions pre and post trip.

Knowledge, Skills and Aptitude
- Educational Qualifications and Certifications: High School Diploma plus additional certification in Transportaion
- Knowledge: People management - Transport operations
- Technical Skills: Computer skills: (MS Office, SharePoint, Dynamics, GPS Tracking System)
- Language Skills: Arabic is desirable. English is essential
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in transport operations
