Job Summary

• To provide comprehensive support to the Operations department, ensuring smooth and efficient daily operations across various functions, including transportation, warehousing, and logistics.

Key Accountabilities

• Coordinate operational activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and communication between different teams (e.g., transportation, warehouse).
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on operational performance.
• Assist in the development and implementation of operational procedures and process improvements.
• Maintain accurate records of operational activities, including shipments, inventory, and equipment maintenance.
• Handle operational inquiries and resolve issues promptly and efficiently.
• Support the Operations Manager in various administrative tasks, such as preparing reports, presentations, and meeting minutes.
• Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., customer service, sales) to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Track and manage operational expenses.
• Assist with incident reporting and investigations.

Knowledge, Skills and Aptitude

• Educational Qualifications and Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred. Relevant certifications are a plus.
• Knowledge: Basic understanding of logistics, transportation, and warehousing operations.
• Familiarity with operational processes and procedures.
• Knowledge of performance metrics and reporting.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). Experience with operational management software or ERP systems is a plus.
• Strong data entry and record-keeping skills.
• Language Skills: Arabic is desirable. English is essential.
• Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in an operations support role, preferably in a logistics or related industry. Fresh graduates with relevant internships may be considered.
