Job Summary

The Key Account Executive is responsible for maintaining and expanding relations with strategically important customers. This role ensures that assigned clients receive exceptional service, addresses their needs proactively and identifies new business opportunities. KAE serves as the main point of contact for key accounts, working closely operations, and sales and finance teams to deliver tailored logistics solutions that enhance customer satisfaction and drive revenue growth.

Key Accountabilities

Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers.

Yearly meet with clients to assess their needs, gather feedback and provide solutions.

Manage escalations and ensure prompt resolution of service-related issues.

Identify and pursue opportunities for upselling and cross selling logistic services.

Renegotiate contract and service agreements when contracts expire.

Work closely with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth service execution.

Monitor key account service performance, ensuring contractual commitments are met.

Proactively address potential service issues before they impact the customer.

Maintain accurate records of customers interactions, service performance and revenue growth.

Generate reports on account performance and retention metric.

Knowledge, Skills and Aptitude

  • Educational Qualifications and Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, logistics or any related field.
  • Knowledge: Customer service. Transport operations.
  • Technical Skills: Computer skills: (MS Office, SharePoint, Dynamics, GPS Tracking System).
  • Language Skills: Excellent Communication skills: (Read, Write, Speak). English / Arabic / Other.
  • Experience: 1+ years’ experience in customer relationship management / Customer focused work environment/ Proven skills in team management.
