Job Summary

To assemble, machine, or fabricate mechanical parts, pieces, or products using a variety of tools and machinery according to required specifications.

Key Accountabilities

Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately create equipment and products.

Perform modification and repair work if required.

Machining and fabrication of materials and components.

Fitting, setting, and installing fabricated structures.

Metal forming, bending, and finishing.

Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.

Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Work in conjunction with other site personnel and lead persons.

Perform any other tasks as assigned by the Sr. Fabricator.

Knowledge, Skills and Aptitude

Educational Qualifications and Certifications: Diploma / High School or Equivalent.

Knowledge: Knowledge of metallurgy, welding, and the ability to read and interpret drawings/blueprints. Highly skilled in operating a wide array of shop and fabrication tools, schematic interpretation, and material properties of sheet metals.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating hand held power tools. Ability to perform related fabrication tasks.

Language Skills: Understanding both English and Arabic. Communication skills, both written and verbal.

Experience: At least 2 3 years of experience in metal fabrication.
