Job Summary
- Assist in providing a safe and environmentally friendly work place for employees, customers, visitors and the society.
- Serve as Emergency Response Coordinator as required
- Assist operational departments in meeting the EHS policies and procedures
Key Accountabilities
- Assist in coordinating, implementing, and maintaining the company’s environmental health and safety management system.
- Conduct formal facility inspections on a regular basis and report findings to operations management and EHS Manager.
- Coordinate/conduct environmental health and safety related monitoring and audits in business areas within his scope.
- Conduct and/or coordinate incident investigations, root cause analysis and evaluate adequacy of proposed corrective and preventive actions from operations.
- Assist with the EHS management of division contractor.
- Present the company EHS management system during inspection of facilities by governmental agencies.
- Support operations’ efforts related to EHS compliance and emergency preparedness and lead annual emergency evacuation drills.
- Assist in special EHS projects on an as need basis.
Knowledge, Skills and Aptitude
- Job requirements:
- Education:
- College diploma, university degree or equivalent qualification in Industrial Safety, in Engineering discipline or Business Administration
- Experience:
- Fresh graduates and experienced professionals may apply for the position.
- Good IT skills, particularly in maintaining electronic databases and use of Microsoft Office applications.
- Valid vehicle driving license
