Job Description: 

Job Summary

  • Assist in providing a safe and environmentally friendly work place for employees, customers, visitors and the society. 
  • Serve as Emergency Response Coordinator as required
  • Assist operational departments in meeting the EHS policies and procedures.

Key Accountabilities

  • Conduct formal facility inspections on a regular basis and report findings to Assistant Manager EHS / Senior EHS Specialist 
  • Conduct and/or coordinate incident investigations, root cause analysis and submit findings Assistant Manager EHS / Senior EHS Specialist.
  • Assist with the EHS management of division contractor.
  • Accompany inspectors during inspection of facilities by governmental agencies.
  • Attend commissioning of new sites and act as resident project EHS officer.
  • Support operations’ efforts related to EHS compliance and emergency preparedness and lead annual emergency evacuation drills.

Knowledge, Skills and Aptitude

  • Educational Qualifications and Certifications: High School or College diploma, university degree or equivalent qualification in Industrial Safety, in Engineering discipline or Business Administration.

  • Language Skills: Arabic is desirable. English is essential
  • Experience: Fresh graduates and experienced professionals may apply for the position. Good IT skills, particularly in maintaining electronic databases and use of Microsoft Office applications. Valid motor vehicle driving license
