Job Summary

To lead, manage, and oversee all workshop operations related to the maintenance, repair and compliance of company vehicles, ensuring the highest levels of fleet availability, safety regulatory adherence and cost efficiency.

Key Accountabilities

• Manage day to day operations of the workshop and supervise workshop staff
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for all fleet vehicles
• Ensure all trucks comply with regulatory standards
• Coordinate with procurement for spare parts and consumables in a cost effective and timely manner
• Monitor maintenance performance metrics such as downtime, repeat repairs, and part usage
• Implement and enforce safety, housekeeping and environmental standards in the workshop
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, service and inspections
• Provide technical support in the evaluation of fleet condition, replacement planning and procurement

Knowledge, Skills and Aptitude

• Educational Qualifications and Certifications: Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology or related field.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of diesel engines systems, heavy duty trucks, trailers and trailers. Familiarity with KSA vehicle compliance regulations. Good grasp of maintenance systems, preventative maintenance practices and inventory control.
• Technical Skills: Diagnostic tolls and workshop management systems. Microsoft office and Maintenance management systems proficiency. Ability to interpret technical manuals and repair guides.
• Language Skills: Proficiency in Arabic and English (Spoken and written).
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role managing a fleet workshop, preferably in logistics or transport.
