Job Summary

Responsibility for handling and issuing Parts in an accurate and prompt manner.

Key Accountabilities

• Locating, pulling and issuing parts to Service and Rebuild.
• Picking and issuing customers’ counter orders.
• Processing and restocking Service Department Parts returns.
• Processing and delivering exchange parts to the Shop and Rebuild.
• Returning rebuilt exchange Parts to warehouse stock.
• Picking and shipping customer bus orders and transfers.
• Processing and returning to stock customer parts returns.
• Unloading and stocking truck deliveries.
• Keeping the warehouse clean and orderly, cleaning the designated shelving and floor surfaces.
• Keeping standard Parts forms, orders, stock tickets, tally out sheets.
• Operating Parts truck.
• Operating forklift and other related machinery
• Loading/offloading

Knowledge, Skills and Aptitude

Educational Qualifications and Certifications: School Certificate/Diploma holder. A mechanical aptitude.

Knowledge: Warehouse Operations

Technical Skills: Computer Literacy / Parts Identification / Material handling equipment operations.

Language Skills: English

Experience: At least 5 years’ experience in heavy equipment warehouses, preferably any Caterpillar Dealer.
