Job Summary

• Responsible for designing, creating, and managing the company’s data architecture, which comprises data sources, data movement, transformations, and storage. Ensures all the data in an organization is easily accessible, viable, and properly protected.

Key Accountabilities

• Creating high-performance data solutions integrating technical functionality. (Big Data, Relational, No-SQL, OLAP) that integrate technical functionality.
• Implementing analytics data within the organization.
• Providing technical thought leadership on High Level Architecture and Design, data modeling, and Big Data strategy.
• Ensuring the architecture can scale to handle increasing data demands.
• Collaborating with the Application Development team to analyze, identify, and design processes for data sourcing.
• Leading the architecture, design, and development of the business intelligence platform.
• Define technical principles, vision, and standards for the data warehouse.
• Identifying areas for improvement in current systems.
• Coordinating with other team members to reach project milestones and deadlines.
• Documenting and articulating relationships between business goals and IT solutions.
• Designing every aspect of a database, including installation solutions for new databases.
• Communicating effectively within the IT department and explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical staff.

Knowledge, Skills and Aptitude

• Educational Qualifications & Certifications:University’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Knowledge:Strong project management skills, with experience managing budgets, timelines, and deliverables.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Knowledge of the latest digital trends and technologies, with a specific focus on those relevant to the department.
• Technical Skills:Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyse and interpret digital performance metrics and make data-driven decisions. Familiarity with Data Management and Data Governance Tools
• Language Skills:Written and spoken knowledge of the English language – Essential.Written and spoken knowledge of the Arabic language - Desirable
• Experience:Minimum of 8 years of experience in digital services or a related field, with a proven track record of success in developing and implementing digital strategies.
