Job Summary

• Provide technical evaluation, layouts, drawings and guidance on temperature control and power sites.
• Perform site visits, assist to finalize quotations, tenders and to response customers on technical solutions.
• Assist technical teams to perform site installation and commissioning for the both temperature controls and power divisions, in line with TC and power management for the procurement guidelines.

Key Accountabilities

Evaluate customer’s specifications and prepare the technical proposals, layouts and drawing for the temperature contract and power solutions. Conduct site surveys and assist operation team in developing, designing and offering turn-key solutions for temperature control and power solutions. Assist technical teams to perform site installation, commissioning and testing of the all temperature control sites and the assigned power sites across the KSA. Inspecting work site to determine constructability issues with the goal of preventing errors, delays, and cost overruns. Conduct meetings with customers, teams and subcontractors during installation and commissioning of temperature control and power equipment. Assist operation team to prepare project estimates, budgets, schedules and execution plans for temperature control and power. Ensuring compliance with project budget and time schedule. Ensure and monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications. Assist with project QA/QC and commissioning systems and documentation. Interact with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements. Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions. Monitor engineering progress against budget and forecasted schedule. Perform other project engineering and project management related duties. Cooperate and communicate effectively with Head of Rental Operations, Project Manager and Project Engineers to provide assistance and technical support. Responsible for coordination and integration with internal departments, suppliers and contractors prior and during execution stage. Cooperate with application engineer and service team to assist in commercial proposal execution. Attend troubleshooting at the sites to and handy fix the technical problems with service team. Evaluate TC products and ensure the right selection matching with market demand from technical aspect.

Knowledge, Skills and Aptitude

• Educational Qualifications and Certifications: University Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering
• Knowledge: Project management and engineering standard.
• Capable of managing multiple projects
• Technical Skills: Computer literate and have proven communication and presentation skills. Proficient in reading drawings and schematics. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including MS Projects
• Language Skills: Arabic is desirable. English is essential
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in Power Systems Generation, Temperature Control Solutions, Service, Rental, and Medium Voltage connection, and Protection installations from a CAT Dealership
