Job Summary

• Quoting & Estimating different types of MV switchgear and control gear according IEC and ASNSI standard.
• Coordination with Design, Production and Quality Team for timely completion of the project.
• Preparing coordination studies, selectivity and discrimination studies.
• Preparing submittal for final quotation

Key Accountabilities

• Searching for alternative components meet the specification with good quality and low cost.
• Review final product to maintain the costing sheet.
• Keeping up to date with relevant international standards, scientific and technical developments Initiate design changes for cost effectiveness and product consistency
• Generating ideas for new products and researching feasibility recording and analyzing data Evaluate the feasibility of design concepts to meet functional/customer needs Develop timelines and cost estimates for product development tasks and appraise Technical Sales Manager of performance against plan
• Evaluate, document, and implement potential design and process changes to improve product performance, manufacturability, safety and cost
• Review technical submittals such as but not limited to customer drawings, specifications and budgetary costs Review revised and new BOQ's for correctness before releasing for procurement and production planning

Knowledge, Skills and Aptitude

• Educational Qualifications and Certifications: Degree or equivalent or Business Degree .MBO.. relevant in company training.
• Knowledge: Customer requirements. territories. projects and competitors’ strengths and weaknesses
• Software skills: PowerPoint. Excel for preparing and making professional presentations to customers
• Technical Skills:   Excellent Product knowledge. Ability to understand the features and operation of technical products
• and effectively communicate these to others.
• Ability to work on CAT software. FPC. VE.
• Language Skills:  Advanced Level proficiency in both English and Arabic Language
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years with Zahid as a Salesman with a proven record of over achievement.
