Job Summary

To lead and manage relationships with Wared’s strategic customers, ensuring service excellence, account retention, revenue growth and profitability. The senior key account specialist acts as a main point of contact for high-value clients, aligning internal teams to deliver on commercial and operational expectations while identifying opportunities for upselling and service development.

Key Accountabilities

  • Serve as the primary relationship owner for key customers, ensuring satisfaction, retention and revenue stability
  • Conduct regular business reviews with clients to understand evolving needs and align service delivery accordingly
  • Collaborate with internal teams to proactively manage end to end customer experience
  • Monitor account performance including service SLAs, billing accuracy, delivery lead times and complaint resolution
  • Drive account growth by identifying upsell or cross-sell opportunities based on operational trends and client feedback
  • Lead or support the renewal of contracts, commercial proposals, and negotiations process in collaboration with the commercial management
  • Act as the first escalation point for major service issues and ensure structured follow-up and closure
  • Maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions, pricing contract terms, and reporting KPIs

Knowledge, Skills and Aptitude

  • Educational Qualifications and Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Logistics, marketing or related field.
  • Knowledge: Deep understanding of logistics and transportation services, particularly B2B contract servicin. Strong grasp of customer lifecycle management and account performance monitoring. Knowledge of pricing models, contract structures and SLA governance
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM platformsCompetence in Microsoft office suiteAbility to analyze commercial performance data and translate into actionable insights
  • Language Skills: Excellent verbal & written communication skillsFluent in ARABIC and English
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in commercial leadership roles

  • Purpose of Interaction: Collaborate on sales forecasts and revenue targets. Align on pricing strategies, promotions, and product offerings for key accounts. Ensure timely product availability and delivery schedules. Coordinate demand planning and inventory management for key clients. Review account profitability and payment terms. Monitor credit limits and resolve billing or invoicing issues.
