Job Summary
To support sales activities, customer follow-up, and promotion of heavy trucks, spare parts, and related solutions within assigned markets. The Sales Representative I achieves assigned targets, manages day-to-day customer inquiries and quotations, and provides professional service in line with company policies and procedures.
Key Accountabilities
• Achieve assigned sales and revenue targets within the approved sales plan.
• Follow up on customer opportunities within assigned territories and segments.
• Maintain relationships with existing customers to support repeat business.
• Promote heavy trucks, spare parts, and related products based on customer needs.
• Prepare quotations and commercial offers in line with guidelines and required approvals.
• Conduct customer visits and basic market checks for requirements and competitor activity.
• Update customer records, sales activities, and pipeline information in the CRM system.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain, Workshop, and Finance to support orders, delivery, invoicing, and collections.
• Submit sales updates, customer feedback, and market information to management as required.
Knowledge, Skills and Aptitude
- Educational Qualifications & Certifications: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or a related field..
- Knowledge: Basic knowledge of heavy-duty vehicles and spare parts market. Basic sales and customer relationship management principles. Awareness of customer applications and fleet operations. Awareness of competitor activity and market trends. Basic knowledge of CRM follow-up, sales reporting, and relevant documentation.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Hands-on experience with ERP and CRM systems
- Language Skills: Very Good English in verbal and written communication skill is essential, other languages skills are a plus
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of sales experience in Heavy-Duty Vehicles (HDV), commercial vehicles, spare parts, automotive, industrial equipment, or related business sectors
