Job Summary

  • To call on both existing and prospective buyers within a prescribed geographical area, and maximize sales of the Company's products within trading guidelines established by Sales Management.

Key Accountabilities

  • Provide a forecast for the assigned key customer list/territory. Achieve target sales volume and turnover. Achieve cost effective sales coverage of the territory. Handle quotation/tender presentation and follow up. Make professional client presentations that promote price value advantage. Submit accurate sales forecasts for the territory. Responsible for CRM reporting, including opportunities, rental, used, and projectsÕ updates. Report on all relevant competitive/market activities. Maintain a high level of product knowledge. Perform any other project/task assigned by the Rental Manager.

Knowledge, Skills and Aptitude

  • Educational Qualifications and Certifications: Degree or equivalent or Business Degree MBO , relevant in company training.
  • Knowledge: Customer requirements, territories, projects, and competitorsÕ strengths and weaknesses. Software skills: PowerPoint and Excel for preparing and making professional presentations to customers.
  • Technical Skills: Excellent product knowledge, ability to understand the features and operation of technical products and effectively communicate these to others. Ability to work on CAT software, FPC, VE.
  • Language Skills: Advanced level proficiency in both English and Arabic languages.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 5 yearsÕ experience as a Sales Representative, preferably in the Heavy Machinery Industry.

  • Key Internal Contacts: Rental Manager to discuss challenges, opportunities, threats, and proposed solutions. Branch Manager for specific issues pertaining to the branch. Product Support Representatives to enable them to plan scheduled Product Support visits. Application Engineers for customer specific attachments and customization needs. Sales Admin. Supervisor and staff for regular interaction on call reports and commission payments. Credit Control Advisor for customer credit requirements.
  • Key External Contacts: Customers for negotiating and securing sales deals.
  • Direct Reports: Junior Sales Reps.
