Job Summary

Ensure technical compliance to quality policies and procedures at all stages of production.

Advanced Quality Planning for new products and design amendments.

Key Accountabilities

Participate in on the job training of workforce due to design amendments.

Work in close coordination with production supervisors to ensure that quality needs are being adhered to at all stages of manufacturing cycle.

Perform duties to assure operational effectiveness including but not limited to overseeing visual inspection of welding, painting and fabrication work as well as random non destructive testing of products where applicable.

Co ordinate all inspections from source, incoming, in process to final inspection. Identify the need to take corrective action required, if any.

Recording and technical analysis of non conformities arising due to but not limited to defective raw materials, out of calibration test and measurement equipment, defective products, and/or human error.

Ensure all tests are done according to approved acceptance test plan and/or customer requirements as applicable.

Support all internal and customer audits and work on audit findings and observations till closure.

Work on supplier engineering during identification, evaluation and selection of suppliers according to supplier management plan.

Ensure all special process certifications are acquired at employee and/or sub tier supplier level as applicable and in compliance with special process plan.

Ensure tool and equipment calibrations are maintained according to approved QA plan/quality procedures.

Work on continuous improvement initiatives driven by NCRÕs root cause analysis such as but not limited to updating quality procedures and work instructions.

Knowledge, Skills and Aptitude

University Degree in Engineering Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical.

Certification in quality is a plus.

Basic working knowledge of CAD Software and reading engineering drawings, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.

Knowledge in ISO 9001, CSWIP, CWI Quality Process .

Background in quality and process.

PC skills and Microsoft Office proficiency.

Fluency in both English and Arabic.

Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Minimum 3 years of experience working in a similar field.
