Job Summary
To support Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) manufacturing operations by preparing, monitoring, and updating production and project schedules, tracking progress, and coordinating planning information to ensure timely execution of activities in line with approved plans, quality standards, and reporting requirements.
Key Accountabilities
- Prepare and maintain detailed production and project schedules for MV & LV manufacturing activities.
- Monitor daily and weekly progress against approved plans and report deviations to the line manager.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Procurement, and Quality teams to collect progress and planning data.
- Support material planning activities by tracking availability of MV & LV components against production schedules.
- Update production schedules based on material status, engineering releases, and shop floor progress.
- Prepare routine planning, progress, and variance reports for management review.
- Assist in identifying schedule risks and contribute to recovery actions as directed by the line manager.
- Maintain accurate planning records, schedules, and progress documentation in relevant systems.
- Support production and coordination meetings by providing updated planning data and status reports.
- Ensure all planning activities comply with company procedures, systems, and reporting standards.
Knowledge, Skills and Aptitude
- Educational Qualifications and Certifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Industrial / Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Knowledge: Fundamental understanding of MV & LV electrical panels / switchgear manufacturing processes. Basic knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and manufacturing workflows.
- Technical Skills: Project planning and scheduling. MS Excel and MS Project (or equivalent planning tools). ERP systems exposure (M3 preferred)
- Language Skills: Good command of English; Arabic is an advantage.
- Experience: Minimum 2–4 years of experience in planning or project support roles, preferably within steel fabrication or industrial manufacturing.
