Building organizational capacity by aligning Talent Management activities and initiatives with current and future business needs.
This role involves overseeing various aspects of Talent Development, Performance Management, and Succession Planning to drive organizational success and prepare the Group for future leadership transitions while ensuring a sustainable talent pipeline for critical roles.
Key Accountabilities
Strategic Talent Management:Develop and Implement Talent Strategies: Design and execute comprehensive Talent Management strategies aligned with Zahid Group's long-term business goals and growth objectives.Identify Key Talent Needs:Collaborate with senior leadership and HR in the Business to assess future talent requirements and create development programs tailored to high-potential employees.Alignment with Business Goals:Ensure that organizational objectives are communicated and cascaded effectively across all departments within Zahid Group.Drive and implement mechanisms to track performance against KPIs and adjust Talent Management strategies as necessary to maintain continuous alignment with corporate goals.Leverage the competencies framework and career pathing to design innovative strategies focused on capability building initiatives, enhancing our Employee Value Proposition to develop and retain our talent.Build Tactical Execution for a Performance-Driven Culture:End-to-End Performance Management:Oversee the entire performance management cycle, from goal setting to performance evaluations, ensuring the seamless integration of KPIs and Balanced Scorecards at all levels to foster a performance-driven culture within Zahid Group.Uplift People’s Performance:Support in implementing initiatives to enhance employee performance through targeted programs and interventions that drive personal and organizational success.Training and Development:Lead the execution of capability building and competency-based training programs to meet Zahid Group’s talent needs in Performance Management.Capability Awareness & Talent Accountability:Performance Management Campaigns:Lead Performance Management awareness initiatives across Zahid Group, fostering a culture of accountability within teams and ensuring consistent engagement with the Performance Management system.Milestone Setting & Monitoring:Establish clear checkpoints and milestones throughout the Performance Management cycle to monitor progress, evaluate effectiveness, and address gaps promptly.Performance Management Guidance:Coach managers and employees on performance management best practices, providing improvement solutions and frameworks for continuous feedback.Continuous Improvement:Evaluate regularly the impact of the Performance Management initiatives and recommend improvements to enhance future performance cycles.Succession Planning Management:Strategic Succession Planning:Manage succession planning to identify and develop internal talent for key leadership roles.Talent Pipeline Creation:Establish clear career paths and development plans for high-potential employees to ensure leadership continuity in key positions.9-Box Grid Assessment:Apply the 9-Box grid methodology to evaluate and plot employee performance and potential, enabling more informed strategic succession planning decisions.Collaborate with Leadership:Work closely with senior leadership to assess future leadership needs and tailor development plans for potential successors.Adaptability and Review: Continuously monitor the effectiveness of succession plans, adapting them as necessary to address organizational changes and future challenges.Leadership and Team Management:Team Leadership:Mentor and develop a team of HR professionals, empowering them to deliver high-impact Talent Management initiatives and build their own professional skills.Cross-functional Collaboration:Foster collaboration across functional teams and departments to drive the execution of key Talent Management projects, ensuring alignment and buy-in from all stakeholders
Knowledge, Skills and Aptitude
- Educational Qualifications and Certifications:University Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; master’s degree preferred.HR Professional Certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, CIPD or PHR) highly preferred.
- Knowledge:Awareness of HR technology solutions such as HRIS, LMS, and Performance Management software to optimize HR processes and enhance efficiency.Expertise in change management methodologies to facilitate smooth transitions during organizational changes and initiatives.
- Technical Skills:Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.Up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices in talent management.Proficiency in utilizing Performance Management systems to set objectives, track performance, provide feedback, and conduct evaluations effectively.
- Language Skills:Proficiency in English & Arabic is essential for effective communication and collaboration within a diverse workforce.Strong verbal and written communication skills in the required languages are necessary to interact with employees, stakeholders, and external partners effectively.
- Experience:Minimum of 8 to 10 years’ experience in talent management, performance management, and organizational development.
