Job Description: 

Job Summary

  • To carry out major overhauls, troubleshoots and repairs diesel engines, road machinery and Air Compressors components.
  • The ability to perform the job assigned in a timely and accurate form; develop the initiative to learn and perform the mechanical skills independently and with confidence.

Key Accountabilities

  • Troubleshoot and carry out major overhauls, troubleshoots and mechanical repairs for diesel engines, road machinery and Air Compressors as outlined in the Manufacturer’s Service Manual or other published information in the workshop and in the field.
  • Remove and install major components.
  • Evaluate the reusability of Parts, prepare Parts List using the supplier parts manual.
  • Ability to use the available diagnostic equipment and specials tools in a correct and safe manner.
  • Produce legible and accurate Technical Reports
  • Responsible for minor and major mechanical repairs in Mechanical and hydraulic systems.
  • Work overtime when required. Ready to work at any location wherever required in the Kingdom.
  • Uphold any other tasks as assigned by the Supervisor
  • Maintain and comply with safety procedures at all times. Keep the workshop in a clean & tidy environment.
  • Maintain the Company vehicles and tools in a clean & orderly condition.
  • On-the-job training G4 Mechanics.

Knowledge, Skills and Aptitude

  • Educational Qualifications and Certifications: High School / Vocational College or University Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Knowledge: Knowledge to diagnose and troubleshoot the regular Mechanical problems on Gensets & Other Equipment’s
  • Technical Skills: Computer Skills, internet browsing, fast and accurate troubleshooting for the problems in Mechanical and hydraulic systems.
  • Language Skills: Arabic is desirable. English is essential
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 - 3 years in similar field
