Job Summary

• Ensuring that the methods and the tools used in the process fulfill the quality requirements and that they are in accordance with the safety rules of the project.

Key Accountabilities

• Improvements in the tooling and fixtures in the operation. These improvements can be of different kinds, e.g., making the process more efficient reduce the cost , increasing the quality, or making it safer and/or more comfortable for the workers.
• Educate and instruct operators and inspectors on preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Educate and instruct the operators on the correct usage of tools and calibration.
• Take part in or lead project groups temporarily formed to solve problems concerning more than one area or function.
• Identify and find solutions to problems and disturbances in the production process related to tools and fixtures.
• Assuring that all the latest revisions of drawings and technical data are in use within the production flow.
• Responsible for the layout, including the positions of materials and tools.

Knowledge, Skills and Aptitude

• Educational Qualifications and Certifications: University Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Knowledge: Tool Design, Fabrication Methods, Safety and Environmental Standards.
• Technical Skills: MS Office Proficiency.
• Language Skills: Fluency in both English and Arabic. Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience: 0 2 years.
