Job Description: 

Job Summary

  • Assume responsibility and utilize technical expertise for the upkeep and maintenance of Company facilities owned in acceptable standard.

Key Accountabilities

  • Guide the PMD project team to perform the duty as per standard 
  • Coordinate with PMD clerk to achieve the plan preventive maintenance program. 
  • Monitor the janitorial and helper provider contractor to insure task achievement.
  • Assist the safety coordinator to per form the safety check list 
  • Maintenance of Company Facilities, owned or leased, within the Region, to an acceptable standard as per         daily/weekly /monthly /yearly schedule provide to him. 
  • Check and report on all defects, ensure issuing proper Maintenance Request forms, follow-up on the assigning     completing the job as per Company standards and professional codes of practice. 
  • Coordinating all the purchasing requirements for the PM Dept., i.e. furniture items, appliances, consumables, tools     quality and cost per item, in coordination with Prop. Maint. Mgr. and Purchasing Supervisor. Follow-up on material     provide.   
  • Monitor the team to achieve an efficient operation of the PM Department. 
  • Keep tight control of consumables and assure all records are updated. 
  • Ensure good housekeeping at all times and motivate the team. 
  • Be able to take necessary decisions\actions in the absence of Property Maintenance Supervisor. 
  • Responsible for testing the quality of completed jobs. 
  • Advice staff on technical problems, when and wherever needed. 
  • Conduct technical training, update and instruct about new work trends, check and advise on training needs. 
  • Check the quality of service given to customers of the dept
  • Advise, recommend on any matter to improve the services offered by the department. 
  • Create, enforce and monitor needed preventive maintenance schedules and assignments, ensuring continuity and 
  • Take up any other tasks, as deemed necessary by management. 

Knowledge, Skills and Aptitude

  • Educational Qualifications and Certifications: Diploma in any Civil Engineering discipline

  • Technical Skills:
  • Language Skills: Arabic is desirable. English is essential
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 Year Practical Work Experience as civil works Foreman.
