Job Summary
The Finance Manager – International Companies ensures accurate reporting, strong financial control, and performance oversight of overseas entities while acting as the key link between international operations and Group Finance
Key Accountabilities
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual internal/management and external reporting of international companies. ·
- Ensure financial reports comply with group reporting standards and templates, including standardized monthly reporting packages circulated by central FP&A and reporting teams.
- Review and validate numbers before submission to Group Finance for consolidation.
- Monitor financial performance of international companies against, budget, forecast and prior periods.
- Provide clear variance analysis and performance commentary to Group Finance, CFO Office, and senior management.
- Lead and coordinate 3-5 year business planning, annual budgets and periodic forecasts for international companies and consolidation for submission to Group FP&A.
- Ensure compliance with Local statutory requirements, Tax regulations, Group finance policies.
- Coordinate external audits of international entities, acting as the main liaison with auditors.
- Ensure timely closure of audit issues and submission of audited financial statements.
- Support internal controls and governance across international operations.
- Act as the finance business partner to International General Managers, Country / regional management teams, Group Finance, FP&A, and Treasury.
- Participate in finance transformation and coordinate with Shared Services or Group Finance wherever required.
Knowledge, Skills and Aptitude
- Educational Qualifications and Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance (mandatory); professional certifications strongly preferred (CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA, etc.).
- Knowledge:
Strong expertise in financial reporting, consolidation, and IFRS/group standards.
Strong ability to review, challenge, and analyze budgets, forecasts, and performance across multiple geographies.
- Technical Skills:
Exposure to BI/reporting tools and finance transformation initiatives.
Skilled in delivering clear, actionable variance analysis and insights to senior management
- Language Skills:
Excellent communication skills—able to translate complex financial matters for non‑finance stakeholders.
- Experience:
Minimum of 8 years of progressive finance experience, including 3–5 years in a managerial or senior supervisory role
