Job Summary
- Achieve Parts & Service sales targets through Managing onsite activities, Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers, Attending onsite daily/weekly meetings ensuring emphasis is placed on resolving machine issues and improving performance by Review scheduling performance in terms of planned vs. unplanned and develop a strategy for achieving 100% Planned Repairs.
- Follow up for Review Consignment parts turnaround and inventory analysis.
Key Accountabilities
- Full time Based on customer site according to Mining Rotation.
- Manage the parts sales and service for the assigned Site by updating customer data, equipment population, market activity, and lost sales.
- Parts KPIs Analysis–Top Problems List – and initiate corrective actions based on historical problems and implement Maintenance Strategy.
- Review downtime reports and participate in Machine availability improvement.
report inspections accurately to Maintenance Planning. - Manage the component changeouts and forward relevant component information and the type of repair to the rebuild center.
- Actively promote Company Parts & Service programs, campaigns, and initiatives to maximize customer engagement and aftermarket revenue.
- Participate in reviews of overall equipment performance, to provide input into recommendations on major maintenance, upgrade, or component changeouts.
- Participate in Leading continuous improvement activities on site, ensuring a maintained Action Plan is available and updated frequently with customer.
Technical Reporting
- Provides detailed documentation of failures and failure analysis.
- Applying regular Basic Machine inspections according to Caterpillar recommendation.
- Receives and enters accurate technical information system using “CAT systems”
- Follow up Parts Technical Failures and Warranty Claims and update customer.
Knowledge, Skills and Aptitude
- Educational Qualifications and Certifications: Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering. TCDP foundational Level.
- Knowledge: Basic knowledge in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.
- Technical Skills: Based on Mining Site Minimum Two Years.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in English language is essential.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in Mining machinery, product support/aftermarket role with CAT dealerships or a recognized heavy equipment company.
