Job Summary
The Data Analyst supports the Business Controller by collecting, processing, validating, analysing and reporting business/operational data. The role provides insights that enable effective decision‑making and helps improve operational performance.
Key Accountabilities
- Gather, clean, and prepare datasets for analysis.
- Assist in preparing routine operational reports for the Business Controller.
- Support dashboards and visual reports using Excel, Power BI, or other internal tools.
- Maintain data accuracy and integrity across reporting systems.
- Support automation of reporting processes and improvement of analysis templates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect required business information.
- Perform ad‑hoc analysis requested by the Business Controller or management.
Knowledge, Skills and Aptitude
- Educational Qualifications and Certifications: Bachelor’s in data science or related field.
- Knowledge: Knowledge of data modelling and visualization practices. Familiarity with business KPIs and performance metrics.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, charts). Power BI for dashboard creation. Strong analytical and quantitative skills. Ability to learn new systems and analytical tools quickly.
- Language Skills: English (Required). Arabic (Highly Preferred).
- Experience: 0–1 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, finance, or a similar analytical role. Internship experience is acceptable.

- Purpose of Interaction: Receiving task assignments, clarifying data requirements, and submitting prepared datasets or basic reports. Collecting required data inputs and obtaining simple clarifications on missing or inconsistent information.
