Job Summary

• Perform all duties within the scope of Carpentry and fabrication work, as assigned by his Supervisor.
• Carry out repairs to futniture and maintenance of all wooden futniture to departmental standards

Key Accountabilities

• Carry out repairs to existing furniture, doors and windows.
• Fabricate new furniture items such as doors, frames, panels, etc. when called for.
• Repair door locks.
• Assemble and dis-assemble new and old furniture.
• Assist in decoration/redecoration works.
• Be thoroughly familiar with all regulations regarding safety at work and observe these     meticulously at all times.
• Observe cleanliness at the place of work and on the job after completion of work.
• Ensure cleanliness of appearance and uniform..
• Perform duties outside the scope of his trade in case of emergency, if called upon to do so.
